Sponsoring the project¶
os-xgs-npu has a GitHub Sponsors page now: https://github.com/sponsors/AbdelmonemAwad
Until now everything on the bench has come out of my own pocket: the XGS 136 and the two XGS 3300s, the measuring equipment and tools, the SFP modules and an expansion module, and every month the Cloudflare services and the domains behind npuforge.org.
Sponsorship pays for what the work still needs: the other models of each family (the XGS 87, 107, 116 and 126 beside the 136; the XGS 2100, 2300 and 3100 beside the 3300), more of the expansion modules, optics, a traffic generator that can load several 10G ports at once, and the running costs.
The one-time tiers follow real prices: $100 buys a used desktop XGS for the bench, $500 a used 1U one. Monthly sponsorship keeps the site running and every release measured before it ships.
Everything stays open source under BSD-2-Clause, for sponsors and everyone else alike.
The same words are an announcement in the repository's Discussions.
The discussion of this page is held in the project's GitHub Discussions. Showing it here loads giscus from giscus.app and GitHub, and writing in it needs a GitHub account - what that means.
