Release 0.1.0-alpha.5.6
What changed, written from the commits.
Improvements and additions
- A cut drops the connection on the coprocessor itself, by its verdict: XGS: Settings "Cut in hardware", on by default; XGS: Settings in four tabs and XGS: Ports in three, Power over Ethernet among them (#696)
- Where a connection sent to inspection goes: to a virtual function OPNsense does not make, measured (#697)
- The inspector's virtual function on the XGS 3300: Suricata inspects a connection in hardware, then the hardware carries the rest (#698)
- The inspector's function on the XGS 136: Suricata inspects a connection in hardware, then the hardware carries the rest (#700)
- Inspect, then hardware: a setting, off by default, and OPNsense's own Intrusion Detection reading oxips0 - its inline IPS and the offload together, on both appliances (#702)
- XGS: Updates, Plugins: each update's progress, Update all, and the release shown once installed (#703)
- The flow maker's help no longer says an inline IPS and the offload are one or the other (#704)
Documentation
- The question on XGS: Overview, photographed in English and Arabic (#693)
