Release 0.1.0-alpha.15.1

What remained after 0.1.0-alpha.15: three findings of the userland review and issue 890's; ten of the review made in the release check before 0.1.0-alpha.15; and eighteen found in this release's own check. Each fix was tested before its merge - by the repository's tests, and on the appliance it concerns where one can show it (the first XGS 3300, or the XGS 136 for the ARMADA driver's scripts); each pull request's Tested section says which. The release itself was taken by the three lab appliances the way an owner takes it - an XGS 136 and two XGS 3300s, from 0.1.0-alpha.15 - and its drivers carried two hours of traffic on all three without a failure.

After updating, reload XGS: Updates before you press Reboot now: a page left open since before the update does not know to wait while a plugin is still being installed.

A security update for an appliance on 0.1.0-alpha.14 or earlier. Its updater predates signed releases and checks no signature, so it takes this release the old way, once; the updater this release installs takes only signed releases from then on. Update such an appliance now (the notice).

Fixes

  • Problem reports: a panic at shutdown read from the kernel's own records (#1130)

Improvements and additions

  • release.yml: a signing that was not started fails the run, and can be started again by hand (#1125) - the repository's release workflow; nothing on an appliance changes with it
  • ARMADA: npuep taken up again only from a module built for the running kernel (#1126)
  • XGS: Updates: the plugin taken along named at the finish, Reboot now held while one installs (#1127)
  • Plugins tab: an update refused after its download stopped at Download, not Check for updates (#1128)
  • Thermal sensors: set again when anything but its own page took the setting out (#1129)
  • Updates: releases compared by number, the newest's signature by its tag, the keys before update.py, an archive installed by hand recorded (#1131)
  • octep: a dp.if_add refused for its tag clears the unit and the label staged for it (#1132)
  • The security notice: the site's bar in eight languages, a news post and README, for an appliance on 0.1.0-alpha.14 or earlier, and OPNsense for PHP2Shell (#1133) - nothing on an appliance changes with it
  • Updates: the reboot held only as long as an update waits for one plugin, and while a plugin installs when the status cannot be read; the bar says it checks; a manifest too deep to parse refused; why a read failed said; the temporary key sets uninstalled (#1134)
  • Problem reports: a panic at shutdown read from this boot's own lines; thermal sensors: an unreadable backup, or the owner's own restore, leaves the setting alone; ARMADA: reload.sh and recover.sh refuse what would leave nothing to recover with (#1135)
  • Updates: no reboot while an update itself runs; thermal sensors: a whole configuration restored with its history kept is the owner's restore; plugins: a failed answer of npuforge.org's copy no longer stops the other updates (#1136)
