Release 0.1.0-alpha.13

What changed, written from the commits.

Fixes

  • feeder.py sees a hanging coprocessor coming and slows its panics down; octep lets go first (#989)
  • fastpath.py keeps what recover.sh said when it runs out of time (#991)
  • npuep: its interfaces out of every route lookup before the first is detached (#996)
  • npuep: the route copy's delay read in vnet0, so that a detach through devctl does not fault (#1007)
  • feeder.py: a look's seconds lent to the link's watch, and no SysRq after its own quiesce (#1008)
  • mgmt-link.sh: the coprocessor told its address through npu-run.sh under the console's lock, and again while it does not answer (#1017)
  • reporter.py: a failed update reported once per attempt, with its reason (#1020)
  • feeder.py: the looks in a thread of their own, the console asked first at 10 s, a stopped userland only said (#1021)
  • switch-jumbo.sh waits for the link while the address is given at boot; the address waits 30 s for the console (#1024)

Improvements and additions

  • feeder.py watches a coprocessor long up from its first answer, not after two minutes (#993)
  • npuep: its sysctls go first in detach, before the locks their handlers take (#995)
  • octep: a deaf ring's MSI-X pending bit read while masked - none held (#998)
  • octep and docs: a pending bit down while masked does not say a deaf ring's message was never made (#1009)
  • npuep: a full fence between the doorbell handler's count and the detach's withdrawal of its softc (#1015)
  • octep: a gone coprocessor asked before its buffers go, its ports out of every route lookup before detach (#1016)

Documentation

  • docs: spanning tree across the front ports, measured (#992)
  • docs: the TCP window checked on the XGS 136, and an octep recovery under IPv6 connects (#997)
  • docs: the review before the next release, measured on the three lab appliances (2026-11-03) (#1011)
  • docs: the release check's F3b again - a stop inside a slow look froze the host 2 of 2 (#1013)
  • docs: the release check's F12 - #1002's case, main froze 1 of 1, the fix prepared lived 2 of 2 (#1014)
  • docs: the release check after its fixes - 1015, 1016 and 1017 on the appliances, photos 81-95 (#1019)
  • docs: the release check's runs of the watch over the coprocessor (#1021), photos 97-116 (#1023)
