Release 0.1.0-alpha.10.3
A small release, for two owners. For the XGS 3100 of issue 911: the front ports of both families say their link state is real, so a bridge over them goes down with no cable and up with one, and a devd rule has OPNsense apply a bridge again when its link comes up, as it does an Ethernet port - plugging a LAN port applies LAN again (both measured on the first XGS 3300, vendor version 23; the link state on the XGS 136, vendor version 21, too); and two interfaces in one subnet, of which the one applied last loses the subnet's route, cable in or not, are named by verify.sh, on XGS: Ports and in the support bundle (the behaviour measured on both XGS 3300s, the warning tested on the first). For the XGS 107w of issue 890: npuep holds back a zero header's buffer for a pass and looks at it again, compares every descriptor's own buffer address with its cookie's buffer, and keeps more of a refused buffer's shape (tested on the XGS 136, where none of it triggers). Not run on an XGS 3100, 107 or 107w: there is none here.
Improvements and additions
- Front ports say their link state is real (#917)
- A bridge's link acted on as an Ethernet port's (#918)
- Interfaces sharing a subnet: verify.sh, XGS: Ports and the support bundle say so (#919)
- npuep: a third look at the XGS 107w's zero headers (#890) (#920)
